Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
We have a very active weather pattern in place across our part of the world. The first in a series of cold fronts continues to push to our east. The good news is that it's taking the chilly showers with it.
As skies slowly clear tonight, temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Friday's weather looks great with low 60s and sunshine.
The next cold front arrives Saturday with chilly showers and gusty winds. Highs will be back in the middle 50s and it will be very blustery. Frost will be possible by Sunday morning with lows dropping into the low and middle 30s.
Even colder air moves in by the middle of next week. Highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s will be possible on a few days.
