Explosion sparks fire at Knox Co. sawmill

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An explosion sparked a large fire at a sawmill in southern Kentucky on Monday morning.

The fire happened at Forest Products in the Gray community of Knox County.

Six fire departments responded to the scene.

Firefighters had the flames contained before noon Monday.

One building suffered significant damage, but the business stayed open.

Right now, firefighters do not know what caused it.
