FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - One of Franklin County's most wanted is back in jail and you may not believe how he was caught.

Working with sheriff deputies in Kentucky, authorities in Tallahassee, Florida captured Rod Leigh, 26, over the weekend.

Leigh, originally from Frankfort, was wanted out of Franklin and Anderson counties on a number of charges, including assault.

According to Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton, Leigh made it easy for deputies to catch him.

"He evidently captured our screenshot of the, "Sheriff's Most Wanted" we had on our Facebook page," explained Sheriff Melton. "Then he put it on his Facebook page as part of a birthday invitation."

Leigh also quote "Mitt Romney and Obama suck vote for me I'm a felon, pow-pow" on his Facebook page.

"He also included his address," Sheriff Melton said. "You just can't make this kind of stuff up."

Leigh is currently in a Florida jail waiting for extradition back to Kentucky where he will face charges in Franklin and Anderson Counties.
