MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- To help with search efforts for Madison County missing teen, Brookelyn Farthing, family members are heading up a new fundraiser.
"We just want anything, any tips, anybody that knows to help us bring her home," said Brookelyn's sister Tasha Thomas. "We just want her home."
The eighteen year old girl was last seen more than two weeks ago in Berea, but even as the days go by family of Brooke are not giving up hope.
"It's very strenuous on us," said Thomas. "It's very long nights, very long days. It's just really tough on our family."
Despite the heartache, Thomas is heading up a new fundraiser. Selling t-shirts to keep her face out there.
"We had some t-shirts. They donated us some t-shirts for free. They were generous enough to do that for us," said Thomas.
The money collected will go to the reward fund.
"Right now we are trying to build up the reward to kind of push it to try and get more tips coming in. We know that money kind of talks," said Thomas.
Donations amount to about $500, but Thomas hopes they can raise $2,000. Family of Brooke have not given up hope and they're anxiously awaiting a phone call with good news.
"That moment that you're hoping it's her, to call and say that she's somewhere. You don't even care if she is in California. You just want her to call and say I'm home. I'm here. I'm alive. I'm somewhere," said Thomas.
If you're interested in buying a t-shirt, her sister is asking that you message her on Facebook.
