LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - The family of a man who died in the Lexington jail in May is pressing officials for answers about the events surrounding his death.
Jeffrey McKinney's family says they have asked jail officials, the police and the coroner for more details about McKinney's death on May 22, but they haven't received many answers.
Julie Curtsinger told The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/RpjBS0 ) she just wants to know what happened to her brother.
McKinney, 37, was jailed for driving under the influence of alcohol. Curtsinger says her brother had two epileptic seizures the day of his death.
Jail officials say McKinney was taken to the hospital after he had a medical emergency. He died about an hour later. Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says police are waiting for the state medical examiner's report.
