Lexington father and son robbed at gunpoint overnight

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police are looking for suspects after they say a man and his son were robbed at gunpoint outside their apartment.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Wednesday night at the Cambridge Park Apartments.

The victims told police they were walking into their apartment when two armed men forced the door open and demanded money.

Investigators say the robbers took the victims' wallets and left in a red or maroon Pontiac Grand Prix.

Police have a limited description of the suspects.

Victims say the Grand Prix was going away from downtown on Versailles Road.

No injuries were reported.
