LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- Fayette County schools tells WKYT in light of improved road conditions, all FCPS-sponsored evening and after school activities -- at the high school level only -- will be allowed to go on as scheduled on Friday and Saturday (Including practices).

This does not include activities specifically canceled earlier -- including the District 7 Honor Band practice and concert or the KHSAA Cheerleading competition.

All FPCS-sponsored evening and after school activities at the elementary and middle school level remain canceled on Friday, but will go on as scheduled on Saturday.

School officials say if any family feels road conditions in their area are unsafe, students will be excused from participation requirements.
