Fayette Mall unveils three additional retailers to join expansion

Fayette Mall announced the names of three more stores that will open as part of its expansion into the space that was once a Sears department space.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fayette Mall announced the names of three more stores that will open as part of its expansion into the space that was once a Sears department space.

L'Occitane, Oakley, and Swarovski will open in early November, coinciding with the grand opening of the redevelopment.

Sears, which was one of the original retailers at Fayette Mall, closed in January because of the chain's declining sales.

In March, Fayette Mall's parent company CBL & Associates unveiled plans and drawings for the project.

Joining L'Occitane, Oakley, and Swarovski will be the previously announced two-story, 23,000 square-foot H&M, Clarks Shoes, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, The Cheesecake Factory and a new main entrance to the mall.

"The redevelopment of Fayette Mall and the high-end leasing activity taking place as a result will continue to push Fayette Mall to the next level," said Travis Farren Senior Leasing Manager. "The addition of these three retailers; which includes the first L'Occitane in the CBL portfolio, shows our continued commitment to offering our customers an unparalleled shopping experience."

Mall officials hope to have the new shops open by the holidays.
