Feeling more like early April!

Posted: Thu 4:55 AM, Feb 07, 2013

Warmer temperatures will be felt across the Bluegrass state today, but it will be short lived. A surge of warmer air will put our temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s with mostly cloudy skies. This will put us 10-20 degrees above average for this time a year. Like I said earlier though, this will be here for a day and gone the next. A front swings through tonight which will bring us showers during the overnight hours. These showers will move through during Friday morning and into the early afternoon for the eastern zones. Highs on Friday will fall as we go throughout the day to the 30s by afternoon. The weekend will be half dry and half wet. Saturday will be the best day with highs in the mid 40s and dry. Showers develop during Sunday afternoon as our highs reach the 50s before the rain moves in the area.
