Victim identified in Clay County homicide

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - A body has been identified in a Clay County murder case.

The coroner said the victim was Earl Woods, 74.

According to Clay County dispatchers, it happened Thursday night on Belles Fork Road, several miles southeast of Manchester.

State police say that a relative found Woods body inside his home. They did not say how Woods died, but an autopsy has been scheduled.

No arrests have been made in the case.
