Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
Rounds of rain will soon be a memory. For the first time in what seems like forever, we'll have a few days of sunshine in the forecast. It feels like it has been a while since we have been able to say that.
A frontal boundary will be swinging through Kentucky later today. That front will pack a punch in the form of cooler air. We'll likely see highs come somewhere around 5-10 degrees cooler than average. Some of our model data suggest that we'll see lows come in around the mid and upper 40s. I don't think we'll be quite that cool, but we will be very close.
The nice streak will run from Wednesday through Friday. Mostly sunny skies with some comfortable temperatures each day.
