Fire breaks out at Lexington apartment building

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Firefighters responded to a fire that erupted at an apartment building on Sterlington Drive Friday morning.

The fire broke out around 9 o'clock Friday morning near Alumni Drive.

The four apartments in the building are all heavily damaged. We're told the Red Cross is helping the residents.

So far, no injuries are reported.

The cause of the fire is not clear at this time.
