MASON, Ohio (WKYT) - Fire crews are responding to reports of a structure fire at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio on Saturday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m. the Warren County Fire Department was dispatched after smoke was seen coming from the indoor roller coaster Flight of Fear.

WKRC in Cincinnati reports that Kings Island has released a statement saying smoke was detected from an electrical panel located outside the Flight of Fear building.

Emergency personnel were able to respond quickly and little damage was done to the panel.

Fire crews responded to the same indoor roller coaster earlier this month for reports of a fire and found heavy smoke inside.

A city of Mason spokeswoman says 18 people were exposed to the smoke at the Kings Island ride on June 2nd. She said two were treated medically at the scene, but not transported.

The cause of the smoke from that incident was determined to be an electrical motor.
