Firefighters battle large house fire on Lexington's northside

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Lexington Fire Department is investigating what caused a large overnight fire at a home on the city's northside.

Crews on the scene tell WKYT that they first got the call around 4 a.m. Neighbors on Ohio Street reported heavy smoke in the area.

Video from the scene shows heavy smoke and flames were pouring from the home.

The fire was so large at one point that firefighters had to pull out of the home.
