LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Crews had some unusual challenges when trying to fight a Lexington house fire on Sunday.
The fire started inside a home on East Tiverton Way, near Nicholasville Road.
Officials say when crews arrived on the scene they had a hard time getting in the front door because of hoarded boxes and garbage stacked several feet high.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Firefighters say there was very little room to move around in the home because of the boxes and garbage.
