First Football Friday looks clear

A frontal boundary will sweep across the commonwealth on Friday. The front will trigger some scattered showers and storms through the day. The skies should clear by the time we get close to kickoff for high school football. The chances will still be lurking in Southern Kentucky. Don't worry too much about that though, the rain should clear before the end of most games.

The weekend will feature a slight decrease in humidity levels. Then some very comfortable temps for the weekend. We'll only see highs in the low and mid 80s. You'll also see plenty of sunshine throughout the weekend.

Another shot of hot air and daily storms will return next week. It's very typical of summertime here in Kentucky.
