A central Kentucky family rang in the new year with a new arrival.
Leif Burgin was born at 5:55 Sunday morning at Central Baptist Hospital, making him the first baby born in Lexington in 2012. Leif's due date was the day after Christmas, but his parents, Robby and Heather Burgin of Richmond, say he took his time getting here.
This is the couple's first child.
