Five injured in Laurel County crash

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Deputies are investigating after a crash leaves five people, including two children, seriously injured.

It happened on Kentucky 4-90, just north of London Saturday afternoon when deputies say Rodney Simpson, 34, pulled out in front of a pickup.

The driver of the pickup, Emanuel Gabbard, 30, and his two passengers were taken to a local hospital, along with Simpson.

An eight year old girl was airlifted to UK Hospital.

Her condition is unknown.
