Five people charged in Richmond home invasion

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Five people have been arrested in connection to a home invasion. Casey Bobbitt, Jermichael Cobb, Marcel Sellars, Rahaeym Hill and Juaneisha Burns all face charges in the robbery on North Third Street in Richmond.

Police say they were called to the home Thursday. When they arrived, they tell us they saw all five suspects jump into a car. Police were able to stop them.

The victim told police the four men burst into his apartment. Police say two of the men had guns and held the victim and two of his friends at gunpoint while they stole from the apartment. We're told they took a gold rose, two wallets, cash from a victim's pocket, a necklace and three cellphones.

Police tell us they found cash, weapons and drugs on the suspects. Bobbitt and Cobb face robbery, drug and weapons charges. Sellars faces robbery and drug charges. Burns is charged with complicity to robbery.
