Strong and severe thunderstorms will be possible late tonight. We'll be tracking strong winds, large hail and even a risk of isolated tornadoes.
A Flash Flood Watch continues through Sunday for most of central and eastern Kentucky. Rounds of heavy rain producing showers and thunderstorms will continue to roll northeastward across the state.
Many areas have picked up 1"-4" of rain since Thursday morning and another 2"-4" may fall through Sunday. Creeks and streams are running very high and rivers are starting to rise. This additional rainfall will lead to local flash flooding and possible river flooding.
With the flow of moisture continuing all weekend, the concern for more flooding will remain in place through Sunday.
If you live in a low lying or flood prone area, please monitor water levels and be prepared to move to higher ground.
