Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Flash Flood Watch for Central and East Central Kentucky.
This Watch will stay in effect until Sunday at noon with rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms overnight and into the morning hours. Drive safely if you're heading out in the morning to head to any Labor Day functions; watch for high creeks and streams. We're looking at 1-2" of rain for most spots and 3-4" locally are possible.
