Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Fleming County investigators are trying to find and identify a burglary suspect. Officials say a man is responsible for three break-ins in the last few weeks. A security camera caught him in the act last week. Deputies are asking for help to identify the suspect.
Sheriff Scotty Royse says the suspect targeted three places along Morehead Road, Secrest Crossing, and the Bluebank Area.
The Flemingsburg Church of the Nazarene was one of them. The building was vandalized and burglarized.
"We never had anything like that before," said Vivian Meade, a member of the church.
The glass on a side door, looks like BB pellets were shot in to it and a window was shattered.
"It was upsetting that someone would do that to the church," explained Meade.
A small amount of cash was also taken from the church.
Money was stolen from True Built Barns, down the road. A security camera from the business caught the suspect standing near the sales office.
"I just hope that maybe some way or another, they can see their mistakes and not do that again," explained Meade.
The suspect stole less than $200 from the church and businesses. If you recognize the suspect, contact the Sheriff's Office.
