Flood Watch Tonight and Tuesday

Posted: Mon 3:09 PM, Sep 17, 2012

A Flood Watch is out for much of southern and eastern Kentucky tonight into Tuesday. Heavy rain will continue to overspread the state tonight and some thunderstorms can't be ruled out. Rain totals of 1"-4" will be likely for much of our region over the next 24 hours.

A strong cold front will sweep across the state Tuesday and will turn the rain off by late in the day. The coldest air of the season settles in by Tuesday night with lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.
