Forest fire continues to burn in Harlan Co. park

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Despite the rain, brush and forest fires continue to burn across the state Monday.

One fire is spreading in Harlan County. Dozens of fire crews remain at Kingdom Come State park to contain the flames that broke out Friday morning.

They're estimating at least 200 acres have burned in the park, which was closed due over the weekend because of the fire. At last check, officials say about 75% of the fire has been contained.
