Former Sheriff's Deputy accused of sexual misconduct

GRAYSON, Ky. (WKYT) - A former Carter County Sheriff's Deputy is in jail after an extensive investigation by Kentucky State Police.

Matthew Morrison is charged with sodomy, trafficking in a controlled substance and official misconduct.

State police say Morrison failed to serve an arrest warrant in exchange for sexual favors. He's also accused of taking part in several illegal drug deals involving pills.

Morrison was fired from the Carter County Sheriff's Office before the investigation by Kentucky State Police began.
