NEWPORT, Ky. (AP) - A woman who previously taught school in northern Kentucky has changed her plea to guilty in a teen sex case.
According to The Kentucky Enquirer, 34-year-old Andrea Conners of Cleves, Ohio, entered a new plea on Tuesday, saying she was guilty of first-degree sexual abuse of one of her students.
There was no plea agreement and Conners could be sent to prison for up to five years. Sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 8. She will be required to register as a sex offender.
Conners previously taught at Highlands High School in Campbell County.
