JAMESTOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Four people are in jail after police say they found a small child inside a home with two meth labs in Russell County.
Jamestown Police tell us they received the call just before 10 p.m. Thursday night about possible drug activity in a home with a small child on West Cumberland Avenue in Jamestown.
Police say after executing a search warrant of the home they located a 2-year-old child inside the home and two active meth labs,
The child was taken into emergency custody and taken to Russell County Hospital as a precaution. The child was later placed with a family member.
Police say Nicholas Fields, Robin Shelton, Angela Shelton and Kathy Canter were all arrested. All four were charged with Manufacturing Meth and Wanton Endangerment.
Angela and Robin Shelton were both charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Robin was also charged with Trespassing.
All four are lodged at the Russell County Detention Center.
