Friday First Alert Forecast

Posted: Fri 5:39 AM, Oct 26, 2012

Finally an average day to talk about! We have been 10-18 degrees above average, temperature wise, for the past week. However, come this weekend we will see some drastic changes. This front today will bring showers along for the ride. The western zones could see showers during early afternoon and eastern around dinner time. These showers will linger into Saturday. Unfortunately the showers stick around for most of the day as cold air settles in place. Highs for Saturday and Sunday are in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Next week don't expect temperatures to leave the 40s during the afternoon. It will be VERY COLD! Weather during midweek, including Halloween, will be interesting to see how everything pans out. We are looking at rain or snow, depending on which track Hurricane Sandy takes. We still have a few days to watch this, so we will have a better handle on it in the days to come. Have a good Friday everyone!
