General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
Spotty showers with a few rumbles of thunder will be the call for today. This will especially be with us before noon time where most of the rain will fall. Heading into the afternoon we will start to see some clearing for most areas with highs in the mid to upper 60s. On the other hand, the southeastern areas could still see a few showers and rumbles of thunder during the early afternoon hours.
Heading into the night we will need to have our plants covered as frost is likely with overnight lows in the low to mid 30s. A cooler, but sunny day on Wednesday with highs in the low 60s. Remember this time a year the chilly air doesn't last long. Mid 70s expected on Thursday and Friday with Friday morning being the wettest of the two.
