Funeral arrangements set for former basketball star

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Central Kentucky community continues to mourn the tragic loss of a former basketball star.

Tyler Hicks, a high school standout, US army soldier, and son of coach Billy Hicks, died following a crash...on the Bluegrass Parkway while on leave.

A candlelight vigil was held last night in Scott County, in remembrance of the 27-year-old.

A visitation for Tyler will be held tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with his funeral on Monday at 6 p.m., both... in the Scott County high school gymnasium.
