Police release picture of suspect vehicle in Bardstown double murder

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police have released new information in the murders of a mother and daughter. Kathy Netherland and her teenage daughter, Samantha, were found dead in their Bardstown home last week.

On Friday, investigators released pictures of two pickups and a Chevy Impala. They tell us they found and talked to the drivers of the pickups. They say the pickups are no longer part of the investigation.

On Monday morning, State Police released a picture of the black Chevy Impala seen traveling northbound on U.S. 150 from the Botland community of Nelson County into the city limits of Bardstown. The picture was taken at about 8:00 p.m. on April 21. State Police tell us they believe the occupant or occupants are suspects and they need help identifying them. If you have any information on the car or the investigation, please contact the Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown at 270-766-5078.

The new clues come as friends and family say goodbye to Kathy and Samantha Netherland. Their funerals were held Monday morning at Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown.
