Gas prices skyrocket in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky (WKYT) The pain at the pump is getting worse for drivers in Kentucky.

Several stations in the Lexington area jumped from $3.69 TO $3.85 Tuesday morning. And one station on Athens-Boonesboro Road is up to $3.95.

Prices were still at $3.58 at Winchester and I-75.

The national average is $3.70 for a gallon of regular... that's thirty cents higher than it was a month ago.
