LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are questioning two people in connection to an early morning robbery, but they think the suspect who actually pulled off the crime is still on the run.

Lexington Police were first called to the Shell station on Saron Drive around three Thursday morning for a report of a robbery.

The clerk inside says that two men entered the store. One of them pulled out a gun and demanded money. After grabbing some cash,
the men then took off in a green Toyota Corolla.

Police were able to track that Corolla to a home on nearby Victoria Way. They took two men inside the car to the police station for questioning. Police believe one of those men was inside the store at the time of the robbery.

The man who actually carried out the robbery is still on the loose. He is described as a heavyset black man who is around 5'9. He was wearing a black hoodie, jacket and jeans. He used a black handgun.

No one has been charged at this time.
