Gas can may be to blame for brush fire

State forestry officials say around twelve acres burned near Mullins Point Road in Wolfe County on Saturday.

27 NEWSFIRST is told the gas can sitting in a pickup in a field may have exploded and started the fire.

There's no word if anyone is hurt, or if any homes or buildings have burned.
