Georgetown College president retiring

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (AP) - After 20 years of leading Georgetown College, President William Crouch has announced that he will retire next year.

The Georgetown News-Graphic (http://bit.ly/UcjYrb) reports Crouch made the announcement Tuesday, which was the 20th anniversary of his inauguration in 1992. Crouch said his retirement will be effective June 30, 2013.

Board of Trustees Chairman Earl Goode says Crouch leaves "a lasting impact" on the school.

Crouch said he is proud of his accomplishments at Georgetown College, but he believes it is a good time for new leadership.
