Getting ready for dry and cold conditions

Posted: Wed 4:24 AM, Jan 02, 2013

Now that this past system has exited the region we will be settling into a dry and cold pattern for the next several days. Highs today will range from 28-32 degrees. For our southeastern regions, don't be surprised to see a few flurries flying around during the morning hours. Clouds will hang tight with a few peaks of sunshine for some of us. Temperatures in the 30s will stay put through next Monday, so keep those coats handy. The best chance to see any rain/snow/sleet will be during a brief moment through the weekend. This will not amount to much at all with flurries being the possibility.
