Getting rid of the freezing rain and bringing in snow showers!

After a wild winter system of freezing rain and snow, we are now looking at just snow in the forecast today. Snow showers will be spotty and not everyone will see them. We are looking at no accumulation for most, but a few could receive a coating on the ground. This will add to our headache that we have been through the past several weeks. Temperatures will drop through the day with afternoon temperatures in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

A flurry will be possible on Thursday, but most of us will be dry Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s. Heading into the weekend we are looking at another winter system heading our way. This one is on the cold side, which means mainly snow. This should be a light snow event for both days, but could add up to a couple inches before it's all said and done.
