Girl critically injured in Somerset crash showing signs of improvement

SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - Nearly two weeks after being critically injured in a crash, a southern Kentucky girl is showing signs of improvement.

Workers at UK Hospital say Jaden Jasper, 12, of Somerset, has been upgraded to serious condition. She had been listed in critical.

Earlier this month, she and her father, Jimmy Jasper, were injured when their SUV hit a plank fence in Somerset.

He has since been released from the hospital.
