The Lexington Division of Police has issued a Golden Alert for 81-year-old Carl Wheeler Shye. Mr. Shye has been missing since 11:47 a.m.Thursday. He was last seen at his home on Oakwood Drive, in Lexington. He is believed to be driving a light green, Toyota Camry. The license plate number of the vehicle is 311 GKB.
Mr. Shye has a variety of medical issues, including heart problems and dementia. Anyone who sees Mr. Shye, or has information concerning his whereabouts should call 911.
