We've had quite a bit of rain across the area in the past few days. Some locations have picked up on more rain this week than the entire month of June. Sunday began with some showers in the Lexington area with more scattered activity in the afternoon. In between the rain skies are partly cloudy with a nice breeze and humid conditions. Overnight we can expect lows around 70 with areas of fog.
Into the start of the work week the tropical airmass stays in place and we'll have a good chance of some more downpours. Monday's high will reach 90 with partly cloudy skies. On Tuesday through the week temperatures reach just above 90 degrees with storms firing up during the hottest times of the day. Looking ahead to next weekend, computer models show some drier air moving in which will decrease rain chances and keep it sunny.
Have a great week!
