Governor Beshear undergoes another eye surgery

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - Governor Beshear is recovering after undergoing a second surgery on his eye.

His office tell us the minor surgery Thursday was to remove scar tissue that developed after he had a procedure to repair a detached retina last November.

We're told the surgery was successful and the governor expects no interruptions to his schedule.
