Governor Beshear is responding to criticism from opponent David Williams involving a Hindu ceremony.
David Williams criticized the Governor over participating in the ceremony. It was held in Elizabethtown and marked an India-based company's entry into the state, bringing with it 250 jobs. Williams said Beshear engaged in idolatry by participating in the "ground blessing."
The Governor called William's criticism, "pathetic and desperate."
