GEORGETOWN, Ky (WKYT) - Georgetown police have seen an increase in graffiti on area businesses.

The police department has set up an email (graffiti@georgetownpolice.org.) for anyone who sees graffiti so it can quickly be removed.

Officer Ben Martin says the purpose is to "beautify the city.'

"Nobody wants to drive through businesses or residences and see the graffiti on there, some of its curse words, vulgar, obscene, so it'll serve the citizens and the community better if its removed." said Officer Martin.
