Pastor indicted by grand jury on Danville triple murder

A pastor accused of killing three people in Boyle County has been indicted.

A Boyle County Grand Jury has indicted 48-year-old Kenneth Keith.

Police say he killed Michael and Angela Hockensmith and customer Daniel Smith at the Hockensmith's Danville store last month.

It's been nearly two weeks since a Pulaski County Pastor was arrested in connection with a triple murder at a Danville store.

Tuesday a grand jury indicted Kenneth Keith on five charges, three of them murder.

The case has been closely watched. As several communities were left grieving the murders of Michael and Angela Hockensmith and Daniel Smith.

Investigators say all three were shot and killed inside ABC Gold games and more on September 20.

The suspect remained at large for weeks until an anonymous caller from Michigan tipped police off to Pastor Kenneth Keith in Pulaski County.

Keith once worked with Michael Hockensmith and even owned a store at the same location as ABC.

After his arrest, Keith's attorney relayed that his client was innocent.

Tuesday, a grand jury decided there was enough evidence to try Keith for three murder charges, a robbery charge and a burglary charge.

The documents say Keith entered the business unlawfully and was armed. It also says Keith robbed Daniel Smith once inside.

Keith is set to be arraigned on November 5.
