Grandmother accused in double murder has case waived to grand jury

A grandmother, accused of killing her daughter and granddaughter, was back in court Wednesday morning.

Lillie Stanton's case was waived to the grand jury. There was no testimony during Wednesday's hearing.

Police say Stanton cut the throats of her daughter, Korrey Stanton, and granddaughter, 22-month-old Kaydence Mieres, back in May.

Investigators say it stemmed from a custody battle.
