Graves County woman's death ruled suspicious

MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) - The death of a western Kentucky woman whose body was found in a home has been ruled suspicious.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon told The Paducah Sun an autopsy Wednesday on the body of 52-year-old Wendy Cook showed evidence of foul play. Redmon declined to elaborate, but said the medical examination showed Cook did not die of natural causes. He said there were no indications of a struggle or evidence of robbery.

Redmon said there was no indication that Cook had any medical issues.

Cook's body was found near the center of the house when deputies arrived.
