Group walking their message to Frankfort

Some folks braved Saturday's cold and snow for a cause close to their heart.

A group called "Footprints for Peace" is walking all the way from Prestonsburg to Frankfort. They passed by the WKYT studios Saturday afternoon. We caught up with them to ask how the hundreds of miles long journey has gone so far.

"We had 16 degree weather the first couple days so we just take what comes," says Larry Crane. "Once we make a commitment, we'll go forward regardless of weather or whatever."

Their journey will end in Frankfort for the annual "I Love Mountains"' Rally scheduled for Valentine's Day. The group has been on the road since February 2.
