Hardin County inmate walks away from work release

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WKYT) – A Hardin County inmate walked away from his work release on Friday afternoon.

According to Kentucky State Police, 20-year-old Ryan C. Jones from Dayton Ohio walked away around 1pm Friday from his job at Saunders Springs Preserve in Radcliff, Ky.

Officials say Jones may be trying to get back to Dayton, Ohio but that he also has ties in the Radcliff area.

Jones was serving time for Fleeing or Evading Police and Wanton Endangerment.

Anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts is encouraged to call the Kentucky State Police Post in Elizabethtown at (270) 766-5078.
