Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington now has 91 confirmed cases of the flu. At this time last year there were 188 confirmed cases.
Officials with the Fayette County Health Department say flu season could last until May. They are still encouraging people who have not been vaccinated to get a shot to protect themselves.
Flu shots are available Monday through Thursday at the Public Health Clinic on Newtown Circle. The shot costs $25.
