The cold front has now crossed the Ohio River into Kentucky. This will work into central Ky over the next few hours. Temps will drop quickly behind this front with wind gusts hitting 35mph at times. Showers will mix with and change to snow later this evening.
What a perfect day it was yesterday and we will have a touch of that same weather today. The difference will be the temperatures during the afternoon. We will be in the mid 80s today with mostly sunny skies. The far southern zones can expect a few more clouds with only a 10%-20% chance of rain. Other than that zone, the rest of us remain dry.
Starting Friday we will increase the humidity along with warmer air. This will give us the opportunity at isolated chances of rain going into the weekend and through next week. Our highs from the weekend to next week will be 88°+ each and every day. Each day will also show a chance of rain, but this is not one of those cases where a front will move through and everyone sees rain. These will be in the 20%-40% chance of rain during those afternoon hours.
Have a great Thursday!
